Hello…
What a delightful quote! Is it from a book? If it is…then it sounds like a book I would like to read!
Beautiful photo! Is that the tree where the Tea Party is being held?
Lanier, the tree is absolutely lovely!! I gasped when I first saw it. Aren’t we blessed to have a God who has given us such beauty this side of heaven? May your special tea party under the canopy of blossoms be complete with good weather, good conversation, sweet smells, and bread and butter ambrosia! 🙂
Hello, Jessica! Just so you’ll know, the quote is from a book called Elizabeth and Her German Garden which I haven’t read yet, but I’ve heard great things of…it’s actually next on my reading list. It’s the true story of a middle-class English woman who marries a German nobleman around the turn of the last century.
Thank you, Bernadine! Yes, that is the tree. 🙂
And thank you, Deb, for your lovely good wishes. Yes, we are deeply blessed to have so much beauty to enjoy in life…
Okay…thanks for letting me know! I think I’ll add it to my reading list too!
I think I need to find someone to have tea with me 🙂
What a beautiful tree! We have a small baby cherry tree in our yard that produces only about 10 blooms every year… I keep hoping that it will speed-grow into a magnificent beauty like yours, but it surely does take a long time! Thank you for sharing the beauty of your tree with those of us who don’t have one (not yet, anyway!). 🙂
Just curious if your tea party has happened yet. I’m still praying for good weather and loads of fragrant blossoms for you!
You are so sweet, Deb! 🙂 It’s tomorrow…
